Your pictures made me laugh out loud. I, too, wear camis whose built-in “bras” require a bra underneath. They’re always a base layer, however. I don’t think one can be too old to wear such basic pieces. At the same time, they can be inappropriate at any age. I’m thinking specifically of undergrads whose camis put their nipples on show. I want to pull them (um, I mean the students) aside and urge them to put something under or over those things.

I don’t wear them as a base layer…..Just as a shirt. I only buy ones with workable built-in bras. I might be too old.

Does she have a string fixation in general — feeling the need to sever any continuous line? I’ve known dogs like that, but never a cat.

Oh, yes. They are both death on all string, but she sniffs out elastic with a passion.
